Being helpful to others is a good (and fun!) thing.
For them, of course. And for you.
But being helpful can be hard. Not because the helping out is hard. That part is often easy. The hard part is finding someone you can actually help in a reasonable amount of time. Not someone who wants to network and ‘pick your brain’. Someone with a specific question you can answer. Like:
“I want to run a research project and need a $500 grant”
“I just moved to London and want to meet other people who are interested in reading and writing”
“I’m working on this new side project and want some early feedback”
Double Jump is our simple solution. We ask people what they need help with, and then we share those requests with you. If you think you can help, you reach out to them. That’s all. Just make sure you’re subscribed and you’ll receive our roundups of requests for help every so often.
